Me gustaría que tuviera la posibilidad de traducir mejor los idiomas necesarios ya que al trabajar con una cartera internacional se necesita esa opción

Fantastic product with lots of additions

Comentarios: Overall Birdview is nice, a lot comes down to how your organization has it set up and what level of user you are.

Puntos a favor:

Birdview (Avian Perspective as we affectionately call it) is fairly easy to use and is improving constantly. My favorite part of Birdview is the extensive learning suite that comes with it. If you need guidance, there are webinars and help sections, further supported by live Chat support. Most actions are easy to understand and follow. It is scalable and flexible adding to it's useability. There's many additional modules, we even use it for some of our Dev requests (forms in BV).

Contras:

There is some frustration with the way Activity Est. Hours roll up to a Project total. Not sure if this is a setting issue on our end or just the way it's meant to be. We often set a total # of Est. Hours then break down the activities. It tends to Add any Activity hours to the Est total, instead of considering it part of that total. Again, this may be a setting our BV Admin may need to look at.

Project Manager's Thoughts on Birdview from and Entry Level

Comentarios: I am using Birdview for project and resource management. This is the platform for creating projects, assigning team members, forecasting hours, and managing time and budget.

Puntos a favor:

Intuitive data entry process. Great sorting and reporting features. Seems to have all that I need.

Contras:

I am learning without the benefit of official training. Despite the very good data entry process, there is some fumbling on my part to find my way around.

Excel migration feedback

Puntos a favor:

Easy to digest dropdowns. Visual appearance is pleasant. UI to mark PTO is simple to use.

Contras:

Since my team moved our project trackers from Excel to Birdview, it feels like there are a lot of settings that are dependent on other things that make it hard to know if I'm able to change something or if something is a permanent deletion. This product is hard to adopt with customers as it has not been as easy process to grant guest access. Some of the features like the multiselect is not very user friendly/transferrable, like I can't use shift on my keyboard to multiselect line items, but instead I need to click the toggle on the dropdown every time.

Contras:

While Birdview PSA’s interface is functional and supports the wide range of features it offers, its design could benefit from greater attention to usability and aesthetic appeal. Some users may find the current layout overly dense, which can lead to an initial sense of overwhelm, especially for those new to PSA tools.

Comentarios: As a part of a production team I can see clearly where an individual project is at regarding completion.

New Way of Working

Great Platform

Simple to use and pleasing to the eyes. The different colors make it simple to use at a glance.

Contras:

Some features could be easier to use, such as making templates easier to create and finding older projects.

Easy Projects Review

Easy to navigate! Truly easy to use system & very helpful.

Sometimes there are system glitches where a task does not appear that I am assigned to. But this rarely happens.

Comentarios: As a new user of Birdview- I found super simple to acclimate to. It's super straight-forward and easy to use. I really enjoy this and even prefer it over Slack.

Puntos a favor:

Contras:

having to tag specific users in messages under projects in order for them to be notified of changes.

New to Birdview

Comentarios: I am a novice at Birdwiew, but I think that in a short period of time, I will become proficient at it.

Puntos a favor:

It is very easy to use once the tasks are assigned to you. I love the timer feature--it helps me keep track of all of the individual assignments.

Contras:

The time log view is not always the easiest to use, but I think I just need to get used to the program.

All projects in one place

Comentarios: I do not have to move between several applications to advance in the creation of projects and my work is more organized having all the information in one place

Puntos a favor:

This platform makes performance more effective by having visibility of all projects in one place and seeing their progress in real time. It made me replace several applications because Birdview had everything I needed. It makes me focus all the information on the same platform, having a more effective exchange of knowledge with my work team.

Contras:

I approve that the entire operation of Birdview is effective and of great value for performance and teamwork

Birdview Review for Research Scientists

Comentarios: Generally speaking, it's a great PM software that does the job of keeping things in line.

Puntos a favor:

It's a fairly straightforward program that keeps schedules and budgets along with other task reporting within quick reach.

Contras:

Some of the customized reports could be more useful. Being able to split PTO (Paid Time Off) so that it is something that's considered in the total project, but doesn't add toward the hours shown for the total amount of effort (workable hours) remaining would be great.

Great Project Managment tool

Comentarios: I quite like the ease-of-use when it comes to daily time tracking and project planning.

Puntos a favor:

I really like the the ability to access specific projects and tasks from multiple areas within the site. Tracking labour and progress from tasks up to project milestones is very easy to do.

Contras:

I wish I could save specific reporting functions.

Strucural engineer - Honest opinion

Puntos a favor:

It's cool and user-friendly. I would say the USER INTERFACE or I think its called CSS. Keep in mind this review is done by someone who used to code back in 2016 but took engineering as Plan B.

Contras:

The tracking of projects is limited to time/ cash. We need AI to help us find more money to make from clients aka marketing or outreach companies. I DONT MAKE MONEY on projects - full-time person making less than 70k before tax lol. Dont sue me bro.

Birdview is a useful tool for time tracking and reporting.

Ease of time tracking, ability to copy over tasks from week to week, different available views for reporting.

Contras:

Sometimes tricky to navigate the user interface. I wish it was less redundant to add team members to a project each time.

Birdview project management user

Puntos a favor:

The ability to have visibility over multiple projects at once, their status as well as individual task management.

Contras:

The auto-change dates can be really useful with creating dependencies, but this isn't always helpful and can create quite a lot of manual amendments needed

Birdview Review Higher Education Use Case

Puntos a favor:

I like being able to add in tasks and projects and see everything in an organized manner. I like being able to enter data and information to keep the owners and stakeholders aware of what is going on with the projects and tasks.

Contras:

I think the entering of tasks/projects hours is a little cumbersome and could use some tweaking to help make that entering a faster experience. Also I think the reports and data could also be enhanced to be able to manipulate the reports and information in ways we need to share out to stakeholders and team leads.

Birdview Efficiency

Comentarios: Birdview has been a great time management resource and gives me a great view of my weekly time usage.

Puntos a favor:

Birdview is user friendly and efficient. The ease of being able to repeat time each week and add new time categories makes Birdview a great option.

Contras:

As year to year turns over, it can be somewhat cumbersome to exchange years in Birdview.

Beautiful UI, intuitive in use, simple to find what you need - searching engine is working really great! Easy task planning and resources chasing, great reporting engine and Power BI connectors.

What I liked least about Birdview is that its extensive features can sometimes be overwhelming for new users, requiring a bit of time to get fully acquainted with the platform. Additionally, while the customization options are great, setting them up initially can be time-consuming. There were occasional performance issues when handling very large projects, which could slow down the workflow. Also, the integration with some less common tools wasn’t as seamless as with the more popular ones, which required additional workarounds. Finally, although the analytics and reporting tools are powerful, they can be complex to configure correctly without some initial training.

Good for Timesheets

Not much negative to say, though it would be nice to see a feature to request access to projects in my company easier.
