This program allows me to not only upload receipts and have its vendor, cost and account extracted then published to my QuickBooks account. But if I automatically receive an invoice via email and upload it and then a staff member also uploads it as they have paid for it it doesn't make it clear who submitted the other one. So I've found a couple times that I have it down as a company expense but having to double check that it's been paid for by someone else. While the software served it's purpose for many years I no longer have use for it. They have made it impossible to cancel the service and have just charged my credit card again. Totally shameful. Even when the supplier is on the invoice or receipt it sometimes codes the supplier to 'unknown' which can sometimes be time consuming to go back over and adjust this. > > As an Accountant, Dext is an extremely valuable and integral part of my daily tasks. The platform allows me to easily take photographs of invoices, receipts and import email documents. I specifically like the integrations with platforms such as Xero, which allows a smooth and streamlined bookkeeping process. Using Dext significantly reduces manual effort as it captures all of the key information needed to complete financial tasks. The multi-client dashboard is especially beneficial as it ensures that I have all my clients in one place and can effortlessly switch between them and publish their receipts and invoices through to the accounting software. Overall, Dext performs extremely well at what its designed to do, it takes away a lot of the repetitive, time-consuming parts of bookkeeping and helps us stay organized.
